Who am I?

14034816_10210316379366277_5605292710093627914_n (1)My name is Stephenie. (Yes, I spelled that right, lol.) My namesake is my late uncle, Stephen. I am a daughter, sister, wife and mother. I grew up on and around dairy farms and have a love of horses. I love city amenities but also love the quiet of the country.  I can get muddy with the best of them but love to get dressed up.I am a country ‘n lace kinda girl.

I have been married for over 16 years to a hard-working, country boy and have a 12-year old daughter, who is following in his footsteps. We live near my husbands family dairy farm and my daughter rides horses.

I am a pretty easy-going type of person who loves a challenge. I can’t sit still which is why you can almost never find me in one place for too long. I work full-time, happily chauffeur kids to events and practices, and am studying to receive my MBA in Marketing. Sleep is not necessarily a priority right now. What is it they say… you can sleep when you are dead.

My life revolves around my family and trying to make my city girl likes balance my country girl roots. The country has taught me a lot of life lessons. Lessons that I am now working on imparting to my daughter. I decided that it was time to write some of these stories down so that maybe I can help another generation. Let me know your thoughts and if you have any stories that you want to tell.
