Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day

I saw a funny video today on Facebook and it made me laugh because this little girl made perfect sense. If I find the video again, I will post it to my Facebook page.

She said that if love is in the air, all it is doing is adding to the pollution. LOL.. I think she’s right in a way. If there is a little guy flying around shooting arrows at peoples hearts, is that why love hurts? This little girl is pretty wise… On a funny note she did say that the little man needs to be potty trained already. LOL.

So let me preface this by saying I used to love the holiday but as our lives get busier, who really needs one day to tell someone that you love them? I used to be the one that said I didn’t want roses, but would be upset if my signifiant other forgot Valentine’s Day. Now, I could care less, no actually I am begging you, please don’t get me flowers…. I will only end up killing them.

I don’t need flowers to know that you love me. I need someone to tell me everything will be ok when I stress myself out when our budget is blown at the beginning of the month. I need someone who will just leave me alone when they know I have had a bad day. Someone who will take over carpool to lessons and animal feedings because I am too sick to function. These things happen on a regular basis so I don’t need Valentine’s Day to know that you love me.
